Double Pinch Pot Project

This project represents a bear, mushroom, and acorn. Through this project I learned how to use hollow forms in clay and experienced a few difficulties while trying to figure out how to bring my ideas to life. A lot of the parts of my sculpture looked similar, but I did try to emphasize the bear. I think having the slight emphasis on that bear enhanced my sculpture by adding a slight flare, and just something different overall.
I am proud of my sculpture, I think the glazes came out really well and the colors blended amazingly in the kiln. If I were to recreate this sculpture, I would have added more texture during construction and I would have chosen a different glaze that would have emphasized the bear more.
